There is a wonderful feeling that comes from making something yummy with your own hands - especially when the ingredients are fresh and fragrant. Buuut since bread isn't SO easy, I cheat with a breadmaker.

This simple Honey Oatmeal Bread recipe is delicious for everyday, or for a quick snack like this -- Peanut Butter & Organic Honey, along with some sliced cheese, fruit or nuts. 

Simple Honey Oatmeal Bread Recipe:

- 1.5 cups - Distilled water, heated to steaming

- 1 cup Whole ground oats

- 3.5 cups Unbleached all purpose flour

- 1 packet Yeast

- 2 Tsp. Salt

- 2 Tbl. Dark Brown Sugar

- 2 Tbl. Suzanne's Organic Wildflower Honey

- 1/2 Tsp. Baking Powder (Optional)

- 3-4 Tbl. Cold butter cut in cubes

Put everything into your bread maker according to the manufacturer's instructions and then start tweaking THIS recipe until you get the one you love   This recipe has been coming out consistently well for me in cooler temps, but you may have to adjust.
